TinyMatic - HomeMatic Remote Control
TinyMatic is a remote control app for the HomeMatic Home Automation System, developed by Philipp Ebert. It is available for Android and is free to download. The app supports Rooms, Categories, System Variables, Favourites, and Scripts, and has support for 99% of all HomeMatic and HomeMatic IP devices. With synchronized status updates and customizable icons for rooms, categories, and devices, TinyMatic is a comprehensive solution for HomeMatic users.
In addition, the app allows users to add devices to a sortable quick access list, supports CloudMatic, and comes with homescreen widgets. However, it requires either the CCU1, CCU2, CCU3, or RaspberryMatic and XML-API-Patch needs to be installed on the device. It is important to note that TinyMatic is not affiliated with eQ-3. The app is commercial software with a limited number of commands that can be sent to the CCU before the app needs to be unlocked. Synchronization is still possible after the command limit is reached, and users can reinstall the app to reset the limit. Additionally, TinyMatic has a backup functionality to external storage as one of its core features.
